Night Club Shooting Injures One

Friday 27th July, 2018 – A popular tattoo artist and spray painter escaped serious injuries during a shooting incident at a local night club in the early hours of this morning.

Police say they are investigating the incident that left Kelvin Russell, popularly known as Mongoose minor injuries.

According to police reports, the injured patron was at the Viper Night Club around 3:35 a.m and related that while standing in the club in the company of two women, he heard a loud gunshot sound and felt a burning sensation on his head. He then used his hand and touched his head and felt it wet and saw blood on his hands.

The EMS was summoned and Russell was transported to MSJMC. Officials at the medical institution told police, the man did not sustain life threatening injuries.  He was treated and discharged.

Police have since detained the alleged shooter.
