Wednesday 26th June, 2019-The man who was charged in 2013 for the murders of Zephaniah “Zephy” Joseph and his employee Edwin James was sentenced in the High Court today for the crimes.
Maximillian Roberts will serve 30 years in prison for the murders. The incident took place on 20th July, 2013.
Reports are Joseph and his employee was at Joseph’s establishment, Ottos Multi-tyre Centre on All Saints Road, when a lone gunman walked into his establishment and opened fire.
James died shortly after arriving at the Mount St. Johns Medical Center; while Joseph succumbed days later.
Maximillian Roberts, who was 23 years old at the time was subsequently arrested and charged.
